Are you a Canadian or another American that rides the coatails of Canada so you won't get abused by people from another country when you go visit there? Pretty sad how some Americans put Canadian flags on so they can pretend to be Canadian. Rah Rah Rah I'm American at home but abroad I want you to think I'm Canadian.
Go out and buy them at any dollar store if you are a Canadian. If you aren't then go put your own country's flag on. |

if you are american, shame on you! dont assume that people will beat you up or something bc you are american. we traveled for the first time to europe over a month ago and had no difficulties. sure, people would ask if we were american and we told them the truth. this was even in the small mountain towns we visited, not just the cities. no matter where you go, unless you are capable of fooling everyone, they will spot you as an american from a mile away. and its not a bad thing! just dont make an idiot of yourself and embarass your fellow citizens while you are visiting other places. generally, i have found people disagree with the american government, not the people. but if you choose to ride a high horse and expect to be treated special and force your opinions upon others, then you might be wanting that canadian flag. go travel and be proud of where you are from. otherwise, dont bother returning to the states, we dont want you. |

Why not just paint 'I am not American' on the back of your pack.Or better still,why not do neither,rather than try to give others preconceived ideas about the kind of person you are just because of where you were born,since,and this may surprise you,few people are likely to be impressed anyway. |
