Market in Venice?

I need to know first -where- this big market is in Venice
and then -a map- for the area.
It is a market for clothes, suvenirs, antiques etc
(something like the big open market of Camden in London)

I have searched a little on the web but I found only info
about food/fish and meat markes (but not what i want)

Does anyone know about it?
And maybe a link for a nice map of the area?

Thanks in advance

There's a market near the Rialto Bridge in Venice, lots of souvenirs. Venice is very small, and quite easy to walk around. Maps are quite easy to pick up in Venice (might cost u about 2.50euro though) but worth the money, as it'll help you with the Waterbus stops etc. - something you won't fiind on internet. One thing - bring good walking shoes.. the best way to see venice is essentially on foot. Enjoy....

The nearest markets you want are in Vicenza or Verona.

I think you mean the Rialto markets by the bridge. There are stalls and shops on the bridge and there is a market which runs alongside it. They sell clothes, shoes, glass, masks, jewellery etc.

There are other markets selling fruit and veg etc in many of the squares also.

Buon fortuna

when you take a boat to venice..you'll see this market..dont you worry...when you go to venice I HIGHLY Recommend going to the island of BURRANO! BEAUTIFUL ISLAND ...least amount of tourists...see how the locals really live...great resteraunt there...
