Moving to Italy?
the family are considering moving to italy and I don't know a word of italian. I wonder if anyone could refer me to a website where you can learn italian free of charge. What tips would you give someone who's moving there? Where are the best placess in Italy to buy and live?
I lived in Vicenza Italy for like 3 years. The Italians (in the non-tourist areas) love to teach people their language. Also, MOST Italians know English. So, you're best bet is to arrive to Italy and experience learning the language there. Trust me!
And, I envy you!!!!!!! YOU'RE MOVING TO ITALY!
NEVER buy in tourist towns....you'll pay three times the price for leather and other goods. Jeans are not popular attire in Italy...so, be sure to pack enough jeans from here cause they are super expensive in Italy.
Look for local town markets. They're usually in effect certain days of the week. They're more like flee markets but with better style...jejeje.

New life!
I don't know. But maybe you could get a tape at the local library. That is one of my "dream" places to go visit some day. Sounds wonderful! Good luck!
