I read an excellent article about Bologna over a year ago in the NYTimes and saved it hoping to get there in the near future. I hope it helps you. Oh and the Italians are food lovers/wine lovers too,but they were not fat as I noticed while in Roma a year ago.I am a foodie too and I loved Italy. |

Florence and Venice! OK, it depends on how long you are staying, and whether or not you have been to either of them before, but the Italian trains are efficient and cheap, and Bologna is in the middle of the two. |
