I live in Italy and correspond to the States regularly now without problems. However, it may depend on your daughters provider. I had to change because with my previous provider, virgilio.it, I lost A LOT of mail. Mine would either not reach my addressee or I would not receive e-mail sent to me. I now use yahoo and have haven't had this problem since. I suggest your daughter open a new account with another provider. |

hi,,, i practically live in Florence and I have to wonder why she would not get any messages of yours??? I use a computer, there are very many computer cafes, and places.
I always send and recieve messages when I am there,,, so , I would questiont the daughter........what is she doing????
Its a great city, if you continue not to hear from her,, you might plan a short trip....

Also the European systems ocasionally have some adjustments, but she will replay. |

It's amazing that anything woix! Especially from Italy! Would suggest you re-check all the standard things like the sizes of attachments, your connections & don't forget the occassional downtime of servers. You didn't specify enough information to render much more than this general response. Clarification should include history ~ has she EVER received you email? ~ & perhaps the system you are attempting ~ 'Outlook', 'OutlookExpress', 'Hotmail', 'Incredimail', 'GMail' etc ~
My friend has a 'full' inbox so I get 'Delivery Status Notices' to indicate that it failed to process ~ do you receive any of these reports? Try an 'alternate' address. Try sending from another computer at the library or internet cafe ~ perhaps you've got a glitch in your system. You should also allow for her system to be less than perfect. It must be maddenig but remember, it's all 'o's & '1's, ANY success is completely miraculous! |
