September for sure. lake Garda is very nice, bigger than Lake Como..but Lake Como lies on this small city called Como..which is beautiful. Enjoy! |

About weather, I think you should check closer to the date of departure, since last year both September and October were quite hot, especially in the north of the Country; average, near lago di Garda is hotter than lago di Como, anyway; I've been there (both places) and in late December (a few years ago) on Garda wasn't cold at all, a heavy jacket was enough, no need for a coat, then :) |
