Names of reasonable but elegant hotels in Rome?

It depends on your definition of reasonable. Rome offers mostly bad price/value in hotels, meaning that it costs over $300 to get a "nice" hotel that is centrally located, like the Hotel Flora at the top of the Via Veneto which is a great location. The Hotel de la Villie, Excelsior, Hassler and Ingletere are all very nice, and over $400 a room. My advise is to go for location, and check out tripadvisor.com. Without knowing your price range it is difficult to answer. We always stay at the Hotel Tea, just off the Veneto, because we know the area. It's typically $100 a night and the room has AC and a TV, but it is not luxurious.

I Like Hột Vịt Lộn!

It depends on where you want to visit.
Near the vatican: try the star hotel michalangelo. it's pricey but VERY nice.

Near the collosuem, try hotel Imperiale (5 *s)
Via V. Veneto, 24 - 00187 Roma - Tel.06.482.63.51
