Your airfare will depend on where you are flying from and where you want to go and right now it will be about $700 minimum.
Your hotel will depend on whether you are traveling around or staying in 1 place and how many people will be in the room.
To stay at the dorm in the Cressy it will cost $900 for 30 nights.
If you went to the grocery store, you can eat for $10/day ($300).
So minimum, it will be about $2000 but it won't be a very comfortable holiday.
For me a "normal" cost is about $200/day plus airfare which would be about $7000 for the month. |

went a couple of years ago for two weeks.
airfare rt from CA - IT (venizia) - CA was $1200
stayed in pensiones or hostels (prices vary got to hosteling international) about 50 +/- Euro a night X 14 = 700 Euro (825 US$)
rode trenitalia (euro rail) between cities-- 235 US$
food varies depending on where you eat. plan on $ 100 US/day (1400 US)
That comes to about $ 3660 just for travel, food, hotels. If you are frugal you can probably get but with just about $6000 US or 4463 Euro
6000 Euros = Approx. $ 8,100 USD
good luck, the dollar isn't very strong today. travel today is no longer cheap. |
