On my way to rome italy this summer? |
I plan on going to rome italy this summer 09 also taking wife and kids i will be there for about 5 days i know to see the fountain fontana also the sistine chapel and the coliseum but what else is there not too hip on the vatican. are there some cool museums and cool paintings to see my kids are 10 and 13 and if there are paintings and cool things to do what are they thank you to all that help me |

Oh dear I personally wouldn't take kids but it is your choice. It is extremely hot and busy. It is very dangerous just trying to cross the road and you cannot get away from traffic 24/7. Be prepared to queue for every thing that is touristy. Also be wary of 'art' there will be alot of nakedness around and quite graphic but you know how your kids will respond to that. |

ww2 museum, trevi fountain is a must also the spanish steps but that does get full of people.you might not be so keen but the vatican is a must aswell when going to the sistine chapel go early coz you it takes 30-45 mins to get in.get some ice cream its fantastic be careful of muggers and homeless. and taken is in paris if your scared to go there dont go anywhere. |
