ogni dio in grecia ha un suo animale simbolico, per atena la civetta, per giove ce ne saranno un centinaio tra cui il cigno, il serpente, il bufalo e in generale tutte le forme che prendeva per sedurre le giovani donne (vedi pollon) per diana il cervo e mi pare anche il cigno per apollo e venere non lo so, per mercurio il serpente (della medicina) e forse qualche tipo di uccello
