Please help!How to go from venice Mestre stn. to Mirano?

What is the means of transport? If we stay at Mirano how can we reach at Venice?So far my knowledge goes, Mestre too is a bit away from vennice.So what we have to do?Going Mestre from Mirano and then......Oh! it's so complex to sort out.
Pls anybody help us. And again if we stay at Mirano how can we reach at Marco Polo Airport.?Please do not just supply a lot of links(I am already perplexed).Give some suggestions.

oh no!its not Murano, the island in the blue lagoon & famous for glass works. we will go there from San Marco piazza by Vaporetti.This one is really Mirano.

don't panic, it's easy.
Mestre and Mirano are close: 7 or 10 minutes by train.
I really suggest moving by train there.

on www.trenitalia.it site (there's also the english version) you'll have all train schedule information.
if you want to go to VENICE city, get off at VENEZIA SANTA LUCIA st.: it's just after VENEZIA MESTRE st. and it's the last station, you can't miss it.

Mirano - Venezia S.Lucia it's 20 minutes by train.
Remember you can't use cars in Venice, so train it's much better.

OK... then I say get ready to take the train (airport) & then water taxi's aplenty. Just look at a map, or p/u a Fodder's guide or something. There's no secrets or getting lost in Venice, unless you're walking around in backstreets.
