Being a precocious 14 what you don't realize is that some of what Italian guys consider "flirting" is assault in the US. If you want to look at Italian guys pick up a fashion magazine, enjoy Rome for it's ancient sights and don't give your parents any grief and maybe they'll take you to Paris next year.

Well if you are 14, you shouldn't be looking for any "hot guys" as you say.
Also, I will let my 16 year old daughter answer your question towards the middle of March when she comes back from London, Paris and Rome.

Maybe you'll could buy some alcholic drinks if you pretend to be older.....
Of course you'll could go to the disco or pubs......
You'll could buy some clothes in Via del corso or in the other "negozi"(shops).....Eat some pizza if you want....but don't go to the Mc Donald's(i always eat there and i'm becoming so fat!!!).....
Do what you want to do....
Ciao dar romano de roma!!!!!(bye from Rome)

Hi, I'm Italian girl and I'm 17.
Well, Italy is different than America: In Italy you can buy alcholic drinks at 14 year old, too. Also in the bar and in the pub, and you can go to the disco. So, I advise you to test "Sex on the beach", "Scivolo", "Pesca lemon", "Spritz", "Cosmopolitan" and Bayles, of course (that's my favourite).
That's what Italian guys do: go to the bar, pubs, disco or talks in the squares.
However, in Rome there are many things to do! There are many monuments to seeing and lots of very good shop to going shopping!
I think you'll enjoyng yourself =)

i don't think you and your friend should go gallivanting around alone at age 14. stay with your parents and enjoy the sights
