San Remo, Italy shopping?

I am going to south of France and thinking of going across the border to San Remo for shopping as I heard that it is a lot cheaper to shop there. Please advise if it is really good/cheaper shopping there.

well....first of all...have a good stay in italy!....although for just one day...
in this website you'll find all the necessary infos about shopping hours and so on.....I advise you to go to the open air market because there you can find cheap clothes and you can taste italian fruits and foods too...furthermore this kind of markets are really characteristics...
