Sardinia or Sicilly?

Which would you reccommend for a summer holiday.
Prefer water sports and beach chillaxing.

both are great location, both have the best beaches in the world but sicily has an extra gear....has lots of culture, great monuments, arts, and variation of food and art due to the fact that sicily was conquisted from different people: spanish, normands, arabics, greece, romani....and you can tell by the art food and also people look very different, you can find tall and blue eyes. in sardinia and calabria instead they are all pretty much dark with dark eyes. Plus, is sicily you might have the chance to see actives vulcanos in mountaint Etna the biggest in europe and stromboli, which is in a wonderful island close to the best my favorite little cozy white island called Panarea....so in sicily you will have beach life but much more is up to u. very romantic. enjoy

Hi,
I've never been to Sardinia and I am sure it must be beautiful, but have been in Sicily and can tell you I enjoyed the places, the food and wine which I would quote as one of the best in Italy...and I am Italian!
