Hi! In Milan, sales started on January 5, and at the moment shops are almost empty of discounted items. Discounts usually goes from 20% to 50%, there are some shops that offer a 70% discount but I think they aren't reliable. If you're coming to Italy next month, probably you'll find new spring collection, and only a few products with discounts.
In Milan, most famous places (but expensive) places to go shopping are "via Montenapoleone" and "via della spiga". If i were you, I would go to "corso Buenos Aires", "via Torino" and "corso Vittorio Emanuele". Don't forget going to " la Rinascente", a big and well known shop in "piazza Duomo".

enjoy your shopping.

I'm Italian, but from Florence. I've been to Milan many times though. The shops there are so cool, and the prices aren't so high, and you'll probably always find things on sale... Hope that helps.

I can not help you out much about this. I just bought a shirt for 5 € at Carrefour, but maybe this is not what you want.
But, definetly next weeks are weeks of sales. Additionally, finally, maybe the € is going down! It was time.
