Florence- check out the Uffizi Musuem, Galleria Academia, where the David is located. The Duomo - Santa Maria del Fiore and Baptistery and the Boboli Gardens. the The Ponte Vecchio is a wonderful bridge (great shot of it out of the Uffizi. Palazzo Vecchio, is like the city's town hall, the Piazza della Signoria, This square has an interesting "L" shape and has been the center of political gatherings since the Middle Ages. The area is like an outdoors museum.
Venice- check out San Marco Square/Basilica, and then walk around and get lost. i found the back streets away from the 'hub-bub' to be much more enjoyable than where it is constantly crowded. you cant help but eventually see everything you will want if you just explore. the Rialto Bridge over the Grand Canal. The Palazzo Mocenigo, The Ca' Rezzonico a huge mansion. check out the Peggy Guginheim museum as well.
Milan- check out the Milan Duomo, very ornate architecture. The Columns of San Lorenzo is cool and the Arco do Pace. as well as the Potra Venezia Gardens. the Cenacolo museum where the Da Vinci's Last Supper is located. the Basilica de Sant. Ambrogio, Basilica of San Lorenzo Maggiore, Santa Maria delle Grazie.
i hope this is a help and not a bombardment of places, still more yet to be mentioned.
there is no shortage of things to see so enjoy yourself,

Well, there's quite a few. Here's just a few:
Milan- Duomo, Castelo Sforzesco, Santa Marie delle Grazie
Venice- The Grand Canel, St Mark's Square and St Mark's Basilica
Sorry, I don't know much about Florence, I've never been there |

Was in Italy last October. Visit the Last Supper painting. It is awesome in person. It is in Milan, and you will need to make a reservation far in advance...months, if possible.
Florence has a great duamo (cathedral) and of course the original statue of David is in the museam there. Florence is a wonderful city just to walk around in. |

go to www.frommers.com. it has list of all attractions with a brief description. When I went to Florence I saw and recommend:
Uffizi Musuem, Galleria Academia, Piazza del Duomo, Battistero di San Giovanni.
