Skirt and tight okay for italy? |
I;m going to Italy and Paris and i was wondering do you think its okay to wear a skirt with black tights the skirts not really short i would say it hits right above the knee do you think that's okay?

its a dressy skirt too, it from ann taylor i would be wearing a cream silk top with a red sweater the skirts black. |

Of course they won't take it as an insult.. It sounds like a nice outfit btw. Like other people said.. If you're going to a city or a touristic place there is absolutely no problem, only in some really tiny towns where the majority of the people are old and stuff like that it may kinda seem out of place, but not even always. I think it's not that different from all the other countries.. comparing it to like other countries i lived in.

Have you seen Italian TV? They are practically naked on it 24/7, so I'm sure you can wear a thong in public and they'd be fine with it.
But they do care a lot about style or "moda" over there--so don't wear a thong if it's tacky fuschia microskirt season. |

Um i think that's fine, i wore that when i was in italy last year with my cousins
my oldest cousin also wore a skirt above the knee as well
i don't think theres any problem with that |

I'm Italian and that sounds like a good outfit. You can wear tanktops too. Just not inside the Churches. The person before me is right. Italians care a lot about what's in style and tights are in style as long as the season is right. Have fun! |

Sounds fine to me. Just be careful about where you wear it. Big cities OK, small towns/churches you might want to reconsider. |

Cant see why couldn't be right. You can dress the way you want in Italy do you really think everybody is there to watch the way your clothes are? And no matter as well if your skirt is short or not as far as you are not with your pants in sight! |

If you are traveling to Italy's major cities then you'll look just right. If you are to visit smaller villages then you'll look out of place. |
