Don't eat anywhere close to the station - you'll eat poorly and get ripped off. Cross the Scalzi bridge and head on over to Camp San Giacomo. It's a 10 minute walk. drop your baggage off at the "deposito bagaglio" in the station.
In and around San Giacomo you'll find "La Zucca", "Capitan Uncino" (stupid name for a good place to eat), a wine bar or two and Pizza close by at a place called "Alle Oche". |

Venice has two train stations, one in Mestre (the mainland) and one, Santa Lucia station, in Venice (the islands). If you specify the station, maybe I can help you because I live in Mestre. |
