Traveling to Italy in June?

I'm going to Italy for two weeks this coming June. Specifically, Rome, Venice, Milan and Florence. Any advice about anything? Food, sights, just anything that you can think of?

omg your going everywhere i went to last summer!
well you have to see the coloseum, la fontana di trevi, paizza navonna, piazza di spagna, ostia beach, campo di fiore, pantheon, trastevere, barberini, & hang around termini while in rome. in florence go to all the gorgeous churches .. each one is different in its own way! do to piazza di michel angelo, omg get gelato from gelato venezia ( i believe thats the one!) .. best gelato! & stroll around downtown near st maria novella. also shop while in florence, they have great markets! in venice hop on a gondola if you have the $$, go the morano glass factories, see all the venetian masks, & eat sea food!! in milan def. go to the duomo! its amazing! & SHOP!

overall have fun never plan too much ahead .. carelessly roaming was the most fun! dress accordingly when going to a church.. walk if you can its the best way to see everything .. try to pick up some italian before ..& EAT & DRINK ALL THE PASTA, GELATO, & EXPRESSO you can b/c its the best!

hi and welcome for youor best time in Italia. Rome is fantastique: Colosseo and Foro Romano, Saint Peter and vatican's museums if you can buy the tiket before with internet because there are many people; Rome is all beautiful to see. Venice is romantic city : San MArco church and square; the islands: murano for the famouse glasses, burano; MUSEUM: the Correr museum and the Guggenheim Collection.
Florence for the churches and BOBOLI's GARDEN, UFFIZI (like Vatican's museum's: buy the ticket before). In MIlano : The DUOMO is a fantastic gothic church, the Sforzesco Castle; the Royal palace; Museums: DELLA TECNICA (LEONARDO's museum), Poldi- Pezzoli, FONDAZIONE MAZZOTTA (IN FORO BONAPARTE); TRIENNALE; I NAVIGLI for milano by night.
ciao

Ooh Great places!

Rome, Venice, Milan, Florence: these are all art cities rich in culture, beautiful landscapes, tourist attractions, typical italian traditions and good food ;)

I can resume THEIR QUALITIES Like that:

Rome --> The Capital of Italy.
rich in art: museum, monuments, and really important for Vatican.
Tourist Information: http://www.enjoyrome.com/

Venice--> The ideal place for romantic people with all the canals and far from caos.

Milan --> it's really a fashionable city!

Florence --> it is the main city of Tuscany know all over the world for its exceptional artistic patrimony but also for its typical wine (chianti) or food(bistecca alla fiorentina)I love this city and I'm sure it will surprise you... you'll never forget florence...

sounds great....... you are going to see some of our most important and beautiful tourist citys..... make sure you eat, try everything you can........ especially pizza and pasta ( so you can get a taste of authentic) it is nothing like the pizza and pasta in americas.........
you may want to take a book to help you with basic phrases in Italian, to help you get around easier/faster..... also it will be hot during June, in especially Rome......so pack accordingly, and take some maps!!!!!! hope you have a great trip!!!!!!!

Here is some friendly advise......Don't be loud in public places, accept our Italian ways!(no customer service, so what!), don't sleep at the train stations, wear sunblock all day, try new foods..

ENJOY!!!!

ci vediamo!!
