Traveling to Sardinia and/or Corsica?

I have little time to plan as I'm leaving in 3 weeks (vacation just came about). Will arrive from Livorno on the overnight ferry and arrive in Sardinia on Monday morning. We have until the next Saturday when we tentatively will take a ferry from Bastia Corsica to Savona. I realize it might be too much to see both islands in such a short time. Any thoughts, ideas of must see? We will be on a budget so beach camping (in a bungalow not tent) might suffice! Look forward to you suggestions!!!

I don't know if these sites might be of any help but have a look:

I would suggest you focus on one of the islandsand perhaps focus on one part of the island. I tend to prefer the east coast of Sardinia. Around Cala Gonone is my choice. If you like beaches these are the ones I think are best - http://www.my-italy-piedmont-marche-and-more.com/best-beach-in-sardinia.html

If you would like something different from the normal beach holiday try and explore a little inland, here you will discover the authentic Sardinia in the little towns and villages where life has changed little over the years.
