Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi) Coin Throwing?

Which one is the correct one....

1) Two coins into the Trevi Fountain will ensure a marriage will occur soon ; Three coins leads to a divorce.

2) Throw three coins with one's right hand over one's left shoulder into the Trevi Fountain.

It's just one coin over yr shoulder standing backturned to the fountain,
The song "Arrivederci Roma" (Good bye Rome) reads :

ce sta na leggenda romana
legata a sta' vecchia fontana
per cui se ce butti un soldino
costrigni ar destino
a fatte tornĂ

there is a roman legend
bound to this old fountain
that if you throuw a coin in
you'll oblige the destiny
to let you be back

No two or three coins, just one to be back Rome !!

Huh?
How about, you throw a coin in the Trevi and it means that you will return to Roma one day.
If you throw in two coins, you may never leave.
Better yet, throw yourself in-that will give you a night in a Roman prison-what an adventure that would be, hey.
Okay, no more jokes-a coin in the Trevi means that you will return to Roma one day.

One coin: you will come back to Rome- That's all! ;-)

You're just supposed to throw a coin over your shoulder to ensure you return to Rome again. The three coins comes from the old old movie, three coins in a fountain.

i always throw a coin and i think about one of my dreams and sometimes it came truth

g
One coin assures your return.
