Testaccio for sure.
Piazza Navona is only a monumental visit site for tourists, while at Testaccio there are dozens of places with music, youngsters, events, etc. |

Piazza Navona is beautiful but there are no disco's or clubs. If that is what you want go to Testaccio, but if you want a nice in between go to Campo dei Fiori which is just across the road (sort of) from Piazza Navona. It is full of bars and has a great atmosphere and is packed with locals. |

Testaccio is where the "club scene" is ...
Campo de Fiori is more of a "bar scene"
Like they meet up in Campo and head to Testaccio later |

Piazza Navona by night has a lovely atmosphere, but the near Campo dei Fiori is better for a lively night, it's a typical meeting point for young Romans.
Another nice and lively place is Trastevere, full of "trattorie" (where you can eat typical Italian food at good prices, like "bucatini all'amatriciana"), pubs, discopubs...the streets are always full of nightlife till late! ;) |
