Well, there are people working there, in the offices and stuff. They are not necessarily members of the clergy, and they live there with their families.
For example, Emanuela Orlandi, a girl who disappeared in 1983 on her way to school. She was born and lived in the Vatican, she was a "Vaticanese", a citizen of Vatican City, her dad worked for the "Prefettura della Casa Pontificia".
So, to answer your question, there are people and children in the tiny Vatican, who are not Pope and Church ;) |
