We were in Venice when our kids were that age and they had fun...The two things they liked the most were the vaperetto rides and feeding the pigeons in St. Marks square..They didn't appreciate the architecture as much as we did...But they will remember it.. |

Have a gondola ride, it's fun out there but be careful if their police boat or ambulance will passby coz you'll gonna be splashed away. Just take care of them. Have fun! |

Gondala rides are fun, a boat ride they have water taxi and other boats, Feeding the birds in St. Marks sq. Eating ice cream. They have a navy musuem not to far from St. Marks sq and its cheap to get in and you can walk around there and look at all kidn of things. The bell tower at St. Marks is cool also. |

Just retutned yesterday with my 6 yr old after visting Rome, FLorence and Venice for 9 days. In Venice, my 6 yr old enjoyed the gondola ride and feeding pigeons in San Marco (She enjoyed chasing it too sometimes!:))
Visiting Murano island can be fun if they are interested in seeing flashy jewelleries!
Even though we are not christians, my kid enjoyed seeing the paintings and the sculptures in the basilicas (thats what she said atleast!) |
