Verona/ Italy anyone?

OMG I've been on a trip to Italy and it was great!
I didn't want to leave.. at ALL!
The city I liked the most was Verona. Where Juliet and Romeo lived.
It was awesome. Juliets house is like.. WOW. And the arena is wonderful.. and all the museums, cathedrals, churches.
I can't believe they have sooo much history behind.
And we dont lol. :D
anywayss.. verona was my favorite city, but i also enjoyed visiting rome, florence and venice, even tho i think they were quite too big and caotic.

i wanted to know.. has any of you visited verona? or any other city in italy? did you like it? what do you think about italians and italy?
i personally loooved it, and i'm soo jealous of italians..
i wanna be italian too! lol.
byeeee and please answerrr!
Additional Details

Funny I thought only I found Verona to best city in italy. I was there quite a bit ago and Loved it. Then I went to Bologna and now that is my favorite city. If you get a chance to go back to italy go to Bologna, I am sure you will love it.

Ive been to most of the main cities in Italy and like your self enjoyed them but not as much as the smaller cities with less tourisim and caos.

Last year I went with my dog and rented an apartment in Montesilvano so relaxing and just because i was in an apartment and not a hotel I felt like I actually lived there.

FYI I am working on getting my Italian Citizenship :)

I live about an hour south of Veona and spend a lot of time there - there are a lot of interesting festivals. at Christmas, there were two different Christmas markets and there's always a huge ehibition of presepi (nativity scenes) from around the world in the arena. There was also an exhibition of presepi made by schoolchildren from recycled materials this year.

Although Romeo & Juliet are fictional, the houses are at least representative of the period. did you also get to Juliet's tomb? There's a nice small museum there.

The opera in the Arena during the summer is really good, but the stones get really hot in the summer sun during the day.

Glad you had a great trip; come back soon!
