Verona is a comely city with great monuments and a lovely river running through it. There are a variety of Roman monuments to be found in the town, such as the Roman theater. Even the Bard has his say about Verona with his Romeo & Juliet. Verona is certainly a city worth taking a look at.
Venice - once a city of great international business standing - once as great an economic power as the United States might have been after The Big One. All that you have now is the skeletal remains. I suppose this is where the romance of the city is - it's like going through your grandparents’ attic and finding old and exotic trinkets of times gone by. Once you get past the tourists and the trade that caters to them you’ll find a peace filled environment. For some urban dwellers it may be even too peaceful. Venice, more than any other city in the world, is a place to reflect in. It’s a place that is so peaceful that you may even reflect yourself into insanity.... But it isn’t often the case.
I choose Venice.

I like them both and spend a lot of tie in each. Verona and Venezia each have their own unique character. Venice is spectacular for art and architecture, but Verona has a large old town with a Roman arena and theater. The Arena is still used for opera and concerts in the summer. Verona is less crowded. Venezia has larger and more spectacular festivals - Carnevale and Il Redentore, for example. Verona has a good horse show and wine trade show.

I prefer Venezia...it's one of the more beautiful places in the world but Verona is also good...and you, which do you prefer?

Felicity???
Venezia because it's more popular and known as 'city of water'. <*-*>
