I don't agree with Bluefire; the Summer, for me, it's a bit too hot in Rome; the weather is better in Spring and I hope colors of city will be wonderful this year too. |

I think the best time is in the off season, if you don't like crowds.You can have Rome to yourself, loved ones, and family. If not, the summer is the best time. |

I have found that Spring is definitely the best time. The weather is getting warm, The crowds are not too overwhelming. I was there from January through June and May was my favorite month. |
