What's the best way to book/see museums etc in Rome?
I know it's best to book tickets to beat the queues but is it best to book when we get there or online before we go? if before can anyone recommend some websites please. I want to avoid the tours.
If you are not interested in tours, then there is no need to book anything online with the exception of maybe the Uffizi in Florence, and the Borghese gallery in Rome. At all the other sites, you can avoid queues by arriving at off-peak hours such as after lunch at the Vatican.

It' s official, so there are not expensive tours.
