When you visit my country the possible lakes that you can see are: lago di Como, lago di Garda;
...but there are some lakes very particular in which you can find only German tourists: lago Trasimeno (with a beautiful falls) and lago di Bolsena (a vulcanic lake with 2 little islands). Try to find some informations on that!

Gee I would love to go see Lake Como! I have never seen a single lake in Italy. But I can recommend Alice Lake in Idaho!

My extended family is near Lago de Como which I have visited 3 times and is beautiful in the same area Lago di Varese is nice too. I remember eating at a lakeside restaurant there in '68.
