I have been all over Italy since I've lived here for almost 5 years. I love all of Rome the vatican i think is my favorite but the colussum and roman forum are almost tied with the vatican.

Well that is a tough one, I have been there twice and went to the Vatican Musuem, the Forum, the Colloseum, Trevi Fountain and the Palantine Hill both times....

So much in Rome to dazzle ya, but my favorites are sitting in Piazza Navoni eating a tartufo from the corner gelato shop or going up the hill near the Colosseum to a little church called St. Peter in Chains (St. Pietro in Vincola...something like that). In this little church, you'll see not only the chains that held St Peter during persecution but you'll also the incredible statue by Michelangelo "Moses." Such a modest little place for such greatness! Ohhhhhh, and the Pantheon! Incredible. Have a glass of wine in the little piazza facing what was the ancient pagan temple of the Romans....Pantheon!
