Hi! I suggest you go to "Poste Italiane" and buy a "Poste Pay Card", where you can put up to 2000,00€.
Anyway, if you prefer going to a bank, you can look at the sources. It's a complete list of all Italian banks. Hope I helped! (I'm Italian).

too many bankd, do not use the banks they charge you for anything even for asking a question (not really but close), I would go to the Poste Italiane too, best way, put the money in an account and then you can use a atm card to take it out, but use that instead of credit cards... Banks are every 2 steps you make and all want your money, they are way way too expensive

Yeah Poste Italiane in your instance is better.

Anyway the main banks in italy ( I mean the international most popular banks) are for example Deustche Bank and Santander. Then There are BNL, Banca Marche, Intesa San Paolo ecc.

Munni
Poste Italiane is one of the most popular banks in italy, and Banca di napoli is another bank is also good.

hope tht would help!

Jane
The most popular bank in Italy is San Paolo, but I suggest Poste Italiane too.

moto
Poste Italiane is a bank, first of all,and the bank with major number of agencies. They created a card which is a debit card with plafond limited to 2000 euro : PostePay. You can use it instead of cash,yu cAn fill it with your poste italiane bank account but not with other banks wire transfers. The bank section of Poste italiane is called Banco Posta.

Instead of Poste italiane you can open an online bank account it will cost you 5-6 euro/month and the name is Fineco Bank, great customer service.

Even if posteitaliane "banco posta" has lot of online functionalities, for a pure online use ,the best choice is by far Fineco.Fineco has of course some real agencies to use, because it's part of great bank Unicredit.
