I use the venere.com for hotels here in Italy. There are a lot of good choices in Sorrento. The Parco dei Principe is very nice. It overlooks the Gulf of Naples and has a good garden. It isn't right in the old town though, but it isn't a long walk. The Hotel Antiche Mura is an excellent choice that is close to everything and very easy access to where the boats leave for Capri.

you will find hotels in Sorrento and prices and personal reviews
I never book a hotel without consulting this website first |

There seemed to be several when I was there. Google 'Accommodation+Sorrento' to find out. |

Hi,
The Angiolieri is a lovely hotel - http://www.laterooms.com/en/hotel-pictures/94752_grand-hotel-angiolieri-seiano-vicino-near-sorrento.aspx
If that is not to your taste, then you'll find a wider selection here: http://www.laterooms.com/en/k13664130_sorrento-hotels.aspx
(by the way - in Italy each region manages its own star rating system - there is no national star rating system like we have in the UK. That said, there are some common features and LateRooms has rated it's hotels accordingly - for a guide to ratings in Italy, see: http://www.laterooms.com/en/StarRatingGuide-Italy.aspx ). |
