Hi! Lucky you! Italy.. This country is beautifull! Please, don't miss anything that is offer to you to see, you will enjoy in everything! First: Rome! It's very easy to get to any place you want. There are travel organizations all over the Rome. Nice people there speaks on different languages, and they will give you a map and answer on all your questions. You can't miss Colosseum, Roman forum is just near it. If you contunue Via del Fori Imeriali you can see magnificent building - monument to Victor Emmanuel II (try to be there at night,or sunset, when the lights turn on, wow.. it's beautifull). Not so far from that (you'll see on the map) is Trevi fountain. Then, you can't miss to see Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna. If you wanna shoping, there is Via del Corso, you'll find everything there, and I mean everything. Off course, you can't miss Vatican and Vatican museum and Sistine chapel. And everything you need to see is close one to anothere.. You can't get lost in Rome.
If you have time, go to Piza, see the tower, it's very unusual.
Florence... Duomo, Santa Croce church, Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi gallery (if you cherish art, and masterpieces of renaissance, and if you don't, it's good to see all that), bridge Ponte Vecchio with jewelries.. There are a lot of churches there and they are oasis of quiet and are all a pretty pieces of work.
For me the most beautifull city is Venice. I can't describe it with words, it's adorable, go there and you'll see what I talking about.
I heard that Naples is very good to see..
Enjoy your stay in Italy, I hope you love it like I did :)

,You mean what cities in Italian do we recommend...yes... that would be a more grammatically correct Q Just kidding. If you like N.Y you would love Roma,, only a little more.Milan,Fiorenze, little up north are beautiful.Venetzia, kind of smells but its a must visit, so is the Vatican but make sure u put a couple of 3 days to fully understand it and not just visit it.As far as teaching English........ pretty much everybody speaks it, so don't let anyone fool you.... ha ha kidding again. HAVE FUN WHILE EDUCATING YOURSELF OVER THERE.

I teach in Como, but the work here is rather scarce. I also teach in Milano and there is lots of work there. The larger the city, the more possibility you have of changing schools if you have problems with it.There are lots of schools in southern Italy looking for people.I would recommend checking out TEFL.com for job listings and Dave's ESL cafe is also intersting although most of the jobs are in Asia.Good Luck!
