then, in italy there are lots of historical sites and i think all of those are wonderful...
in the north of italy there are the padua's basilica, the florence cathedral, milan and its gothic cathedral, turin (the church where there's the holy shroud), bergamo etc...
in the centre-south of italy you can visit rome (all the city is an historical site ;) ), the saint francis church in assisi, padula's certosa...
In the main islands of this state (sicily mand sardinia) you can find the greeke temples in agrigento or the nuraghi near olbia and sassari....
