Take the tour bus first and then go back to see anything you were interested in, later. With the tour, you will see everything, even if it's at 30 miles per hour

Like Garrison said, the best way to get around is the tour bus. Tickets are about 20 Euro for a 2 day pass. You can get on and off as much as you like. On the bus they have headphones that you can pick your language and listen to a guide. The bus stops at all the major places you would want to see. The Colliseum, The Vatican, The Spanish Steps, The Trevi Fountain, etc.

I was there for 2 days back in the Fall.

The Coliseum
St. Peter's Basilica
The Sistine Chapel
The Vatican Museum

Those were things I saw, and thought were fabulous. There are many more though...I loved Rome, it was my favorite stop on our cruise. ☺

Mikaela O
St.Peters Basilica
The Colosseum
Spanish Steps
Trevi Fountain
The Vatican Museum

I visited all of these in one day... My 17th Birthday..
