The Citta Romantica...otherwise known as Positano, situated on the beautiful Amalfi Coast, south of Naples. You won't be disappointed...it is gorgeous. Completely breathtaking! How do I know?..because I moved here to live from Australia. Ciao and All the Best! |

In Rome, there is the Trevi Fountain, the Coliseum, and the Spanish Steps. You can see the Tower of Pisa in Pisa. Famous scupltures are all over Italy. One very special " Ice Mummy" resides in Bolzanzo. Have fun in Italy! |

Without a doubt: THE ISLE OF CAPRI ! ! !
I went there 25 years ago, and have been dreaming of it ever since. I hope to go back some time in the next year (and I may never even come back home -- he, he, he)

Elena - it depends what you like to do, it depends what you've studied. If you've studied art (of any sort) then you'll find more than you can imagine from ancient to contemporary. Fashion - Milan is the fashion capitol of the world. Architecture - Baroque, classic, modern, minimalist...
Do you enjoy food? If you do you will find your mecca.
Do you like to hike - spend a few weeks in the Italian Alps and to heìl with Switzerland and Austria!
Are you an urban animal? Milan, Rome, Naples, Bologna, Catania, Palermo.... these towns are thousands of years old and still party.
Do you like the sea? Sea sports? Being mellow on a beach.... the choices are too many to list.
Elena - tell us what you like to dio and many of us will be able to make Italy fit your likes and desires.

It depends on the time you can spend in Italy.
If your time is limited, don't miss Rome, Venice and Florence, each one is exceedingly beautiful in its own way.
If you have more than 10 days, then you can add your choice among:
- Siena, medieval small city between Rome and Florence. The center is perfectly maintained and you can have some great local cakes
- Naples, Sorrento, the Amalfi coast, Capri. Sun, sea, astonishing sightseeings and, in Naples, great art and museums if you like them
- Perugia and Umbria. Nice villages in beautiful hills, great food and relax
- Como lake
Skip Pisa, as there is nothing else to see once you've been at the tower, and Milan, which is not bad but nothing special. |
