Smart Cars, taxi, bus, and motorcycle in the city.

I saw maybe ten pickup trucks in Tuscany...

The people walk a lot...esp. in the towns and cities.....

Banana Head
Small Cars, trains, bicycles and vespas (motorised scooters). The vespas are especially popular because you can avoid the traffic.

HI...i'm an italian guy and i can tell you that here the best and the most commons form of transportation is cars, because here motorways are all over the country: so you can go from rome to milan without problems of traffic because many roads allow to disperse traffic...but, for example, if you come here in the south of italy, like in puglia, compania, cars are a bit uncomfortable, so you must use trains or buses. but there are airplanes also...anyway remember that italy is wonderfull regardless of forms of transportations...all italian places are wonderful...for example beyond venice, milan, rome, naples, there is also puglia, with the wonderful alberobello, trulli, castellana grotte...bye
