What are the most popular cities in italy to visit with a coastline?

and where can you find unspoiled beaches in italy

Down the Adriatic from Venice to Rimini, Pesaro, Vieste (lots of beaches and camp grounds) , Bari and beyond. Pesaro is considered as the Riviera of the Adriatic. Lots of history there ---Gradara (lucretia borgia e famiglia), Paolo e Francesca (of dante's inferno).

The most popular and unspoiled are a bit of a contradiction.

I reckon the most popular are in the north and centre and unspoiled in the south, although Tuscany has a National park reserve.

Lecce in Puglia is interesting and then you can choose what type of coastline you prefer towards the south. If you get to Santa Maria Leuca at the heel of Italy and go west there are great sandy beaches or go east where there are caves and rock perfect for snorkel diving.
Apart from July and August you will see few people in the south and those who I met are very pleasant/friendly.

Go to Amalfi Coast. This is probably one of the most picturesque coastlines in the world!

Naples., Rimini, Genova, sicily and sardinia are main cities i can recommend you as best cities to visit sea line. within Sicily and sradinia you have to choose a city near to beaches.

I would strongly reccomend Abruzzo. Vasto is a lovely town with a beautiful and unspoiled coastline. Worth a visit for sure. Imagine, I bought a property there. Properties are very conveninet in that region. If you are thinking of buying, let me know and I will give you the agency's number that took care of my purchase... real nice people.

*Bandito* ;)
I don't know really..I'm addicted to Roma...there was a beach 30 min on the outskirts which was great!!!...

GO ROMA..you'll love it! :)
