we don't have those naturalistic symbols because there are many species of birds, dogs... but rather monumental symbols like Colosseum, Pisa Tower, the Turin dome or food symbols like pizza, spaghetti, sicilian cannoli, lasagne, tortelli, parmesan aubergine


p.s. maybe a dog, the sanBernardo, he's from SanBernardo Mounts

mmm we don't have that kind of symbols, as the others said we have monuments, food,mafia :-(....
anyway, rome's symbol is the wolf (feminine wolf...how do you say that??)

Actually there's nothing like a bird, a dog, a tree, or a flower that represents Italy as a nation. The only things which represent it can be the monuments and the flag, that's it.
