Well... Italian women are awsome, and the wine is awsome, but the crazy italian fathers who own the wine and daughters aren't awsome... beware of the merlot!

I'm full Italian/Sicilian. I have been to Italy three times. If it's your first time, definitely check out Florence, Rome and Venice first. Tuscany region and the amalfi coast are to die for too! Serrento, Sicily and Southern Italy were my favorites.

Ciao.

Beautiful country, but I had a poor experience. Nothing seemed to work. Public phones were out of order, elevators/escalators didn't work, unscrupulous cab drivers, poor street signs and railroad/bus strikes. I was disappointed by the food, no toilet seats in Venice, showers were poorly made and they never heard of a cannoli. The art history was rich though and the Colosseum and Vatican were amazing.

Food mostly and maybe Rome and Venice

I have been to Italy 3 times and I love it! I have mostly been to Venice, which is fun to just walk around in and look at all the shops, but if you want to go to Rome you should know it would be VERY crowded! Florence is beutiful!

jimi
I think they talk Italian.

No, but seriously what a beautiful country.

Italy is my #1 spot for a long and relaxing holiday!

With all it's variations of food and landscape you'll
never get bored. Top seafood (almost) along every
coastline and the best beefs in the inland.

During the last years I've been traveling everywhere
in the southern regions inclusive Sicily and have experienced
this very different compared with the nothern part.

Both very nice!
