What do I need to work in italy?

hey whats up everyone
Im living in italy and on my way to having citizenship becasue my mom was born here. I live with my boyfriend near trento but am getting bored staying home everyday while he works for his family in the wine business. I want to work but dont know where to start. My italians alright, but my dialect isnt great. So i dont want to do something like waitressing, where there is maximum interaction, yet. So any ideas on what I can do? and what will I need to be legal to work?
Grazie

If you have Italian citizenship then you can work no problem. In any of the bigger cities and even Trento you will have no problem getting work. Just go and visit all the English schools in the area. Now is a good time to visit as though their won't be much work left this year someone will take you on for the new teaching year starting in September. Two great articles that explain everything are http://www.transitionsabroad.com/publications/magazine/0407/working_in_italy.shtml and http://www.transitionsabroad.com/listings/work/esl/articles/teachineurope.shtml

My wife is of Italian descent - her father was born there- but she had never been there before we moved to Italy ten years ago and she had a job teaching English within a week in Turin.

First you have to start talking with a 'commercialista' or a 'ragioniere', that to know which documents you need to start working and to know how getting your medical assistance paper and to know how can get your future rights for a 'pensione' (when you'll retire from work). Second, the other advices are good, I'd add one another. You said your boyfriend work in the wine business, then, why not bring a diploma of 'sommelier' frequenting a school, or better, why not build an 'export' with your native country? Ciao.
