I'm English and have travelled and worked all over the world. Italy is unquestionably my favourite country. The people in the South are lovely, the people in the North are not so open and friendly but generally the Italians are great. |

Bellissima! Italia is a must place to visit... While my Italian beau is the sweetest gentleman, hardworking, thoughtful, caring and hot! hot! hot! So therefore I conclude that Italians are wonderful people. <*-*> |

I went to Italy with the school years ago and found the place really interesting and the people very friendly. I cant say anything negative about weither really apart from that i found Venice a bit smelly, otherwise all good. |

I loved it so much. I miss it. The majority of the people I met were very nice and down to earth. Most of them really appreciate when you attempt to speak to them in Italian. I found them very warm and hospitable. I made many close friends who treated me like family right away, which made me a little less homesick. |

I adore Italy - the scenery, the atmosphere, its history, the food and its people. A visit to Italy is as much an emotional experience as it a physical one. If you arrange to meet an Italian at say 2pm, don't be surprised if they don't turn up 'til 3pm! Very annoying at first, but once you realise it's part of their culture, it's one of the things you love about them. (And when in Rome, do as the Romans do - after all, being late isn't going to kill anyone - hopefully!). Another thing that always amuses me is the time and discussion it can take for a group of Italians to decide how to spend an evening; so much discussion, yet a reluctance to make a firm decision. The mentality of those in the North differs to the South, but I love the whole package! Ciao! |

i love italy, i'm slightly obsessed with italy.
i've only been once and i've also been on an italian cruise.
from traveling there i know i love the country. it is amazing and beautiful and fantastic. it has so much culture and history that its fascinating. the country side and scenery is amazing. the cities are so diverse that you get a new experience everywhere you go and there is also always a mixing of the new and old which is fabulous.
from the cruise everyone was italian so i spent a lot of time with them and they are amazing people. they are so charming and nice. i also found this while in the country that they are friendly and helpful. most people also have a fairly good knowledge of english so communication is easy. |

E poi, beh, semplicemente ciao. |
