This question comes up a lot.

I like some and not others, just like everyone else.

Do Italians have a worry about the way they are perceived by other nationalities?

I did 2 tours of duty in Sardinia. One accompanied, one unaccompanied. I can tell you the locals were some of the most hospitable people I have ever met. Take the time to learn some key phrases and you will get along well. If you take small side trips away from the tourist areas you will enjoy your visit.

Bit of a general question...
A lot of the Italian women i've met are stylish, well dressed and behaved. Very sexy.
Italian men I've met - loud and friendly enough (apart from the Roma Ultra's who stabbed a mate of a mate a couple of years ago at a football match)

I love Italy, Venice, Florence, Turin. Vercelli, are all great places to go. Expensive to travel around but worth it, beautiful country great people (mostly) and of course top food!

Italy is one of the great countries of the world. The stunning architecture, the coastline, the weather and the food along with art and history and some rather good films.
It's people are colourful, but get upset too quickly, and get moody easily and quite a few have tempers.Prehaps a little too nationalistic also. They are the opposite of the british.Italy is an essential part of europe, contributing to it's rich cultural diversity.

They are more aggresive than multiplying, oasis sapping , nomadic asians. They still perpetuate gang culture. You know big alpha males and all that. They seem to have there immoral little hand in everything. They do this by exploiting fear. You know a bit like most governments around the world.

The best!!!! Eheheheh :-)

I LOOOOOOOVE Italy! I went to Italy for the first time about 3 years ago and fell in love. The countryside, the climate, the food and of course the people! I wish I could give up my job and live there.

Yeah this question does seem to repeat itself, for the record, most are positive. For me fit people, lovely history and architecture, slightly boring people, but all in all one of the great nations of the world.

Come in Itlay!
We are welcoming people, very nice and also very different country to country.
I have to say a thing: we don't feel represented by our govern and we are very upset for our situation.
You're unfortunately right: prices are too high in lots of cities and arrive at the end of the month is an economic problem for many people here, but we however enjoy our life at the best and never lose our smile :-D :-D
I think Italy is without doubts a place to visit at least once in life!
One of our best deatils, after pizza, pasta, wonderful history and architecture,is that evry part of Italy owns an own accent!
That's absolutely funny :-D
do you want an example?
translating "Hy girl! How are you today?"

A' bella, come te butta oggi? Rome
Bel figliol, como ti te va ogi? Venice
Uè Uè guaglioncella, cumm iamm oggi? Napoli

Italy is a country in Europe and the people who live there are Italians.

If, a person of Italian heritage lives somewhere not in Itally, they could be called Italio Americans, Italio Canadians etc.

What do I think of them?..........they are people, the same as everyone else.

They make simple food and charge the earth. Why is Italian resturants soooo expeisive but pasta is soo cheap to buy???

italy is a quiet place with a comfortable silence that i adore, privacy was probably the objective that the arcitecturers had in mind when they built the buildings so close to one another ;that ofcourse achieved you have to be a master driver to manouver through their streets.
italians, are according to me talkative people.during the first moments of meeting they will talk just about everything and never concluding any of the topics.
