Great food, art, and culture, but some, not all, but some Italians seem rude and pushy, especially the men. My friends were in Rome, and a guy pulled his c**k out and showed it to my friend's wife. They were both very offended. They also said that guys try very hard to grope women there, not at all subtly.

I spent 3 1/2 years in Sardinia, a few months in Naples (actually, I hung out north of Naples in Torregaveta on weekends; no Americans, no one spoke English), a few weeks in Sicily. I love the people, the life style, the language...everything I experienced in Italy was very much to my liking. If I could retire in any country but the USA, I'd go to Italy...Sardinia in particular.

Well...I'm italian...I can tell you...some people are very very nice in here, friendly and pleasant...others are not so nice...on the contrary they're really intolerant even with italian form other regions.
Instead right now Italiy is full of immigrants and people are becoming really silly.

:(
some nice looking ones in the north of Italy for sure.
