The eternal city, even if it is a big and quite chaotic metropolis, the fourth in Europe, it has an idyllic and magical atmosphere, it seems to live far from reality, in a beautiful imaginary world...

I visited Rome in Nov of 2007 and adored it. I would love to return and see more of it.

I was on a 2 wk Mediterranean cruise, and Rome was one of my favorite cities we visited. ☺

I have been living in Rome for 10 years, a great city to visit, there are so many things to see that I suggest to study and plan your visit before oming. I even suggest you consider to visit even the surroundings, expecially that part called Castelli (Castles) and the lakes like Castelgandolfo, Nemi and Bracciano

loved Rome. Hated the gypsies.

It is the best city of the world, I think; it's called the capital of the world... it is magic; it's very, very beautiful; I visited it many times; I live near: in 3 hours by train I arrive in Rome... I will go in Rome in May (I hope!)

A friend went there and she described the architecture as really overwhelming. Everything is built on a scale to make men feel small. She also had her handbag stolen there, so watch out!
