I think the Italian people are wonderful. We moved to Italy two years ago when my husband received orders here, and I have just fallen in love with the people and the culture.
After living on base for a year, we moved off and started renting an Italian house, and the community has made us feel so welcome. Everyone from our landlord's to our neighbor's have gone out of their way to make us feel like family, and they're all so concerned for us because we're so far away from our families back in the States, so they especially make sure they surround us during holidays and birthdays!
I adore the Italian's respect and love for children. Anywhere we go with our children, they are hugged and kissed on!
It's great seeing my children learn this culture and language.
We'll be here for two more years, and I will really miss Italy and the people when we move back home to the States.
