You don't need to! DON'T TIP! Actually they're already over-charged! Beware! By my expenience, don't tell them where you're from! The taxi driver tried to be very nice to us at first. then he tested to see if you're from the US or other "wealthy" places. then he'll automatically cheat you into paying extra fare! he charged my 26 euro from Rome train station to my hotel, but it's supposed to be 12-15 euro! He even asked me for tips!!! I just quickly unloaded my luggages and ignored him! then he left at once! the taxi was even a registered taxi though! they cheat on tourists! You'd better ask for a flat rate before you get on the taxi! good luck!

dont tip. they should also have a paper in the back sits where u can read how much it would cost to go to the main places (like from the airport to the train station or the down town etc..)
if they dont have it ask to the driver before u get on the car and if u think it's too expensive go to another one =)
