well....i live in Milan......in 4 days you could visit the wonderful churches there are(obviously the Cathedral)....the museums ( they should be open all days and all day long until 7pm i think)...like the "accademia di Brera"....than you should visit the "Scala" theatre and the most important streets....like "corso vittorio emanuele","via montenapoleone","via della spiga"etc...the art galleries that are all over the city,"palazzo reale"(next to the cathedral) that is an important building and the a lot of painting shows....really nices are also the discos....or the pubs and restaurants in Brera or at the Navigli!Visit it!It's worth it...although it's a little bit expensive!(sorry if I made any mistakes in writing in English but it's late...and it isn't my own language! ;) ) |

In four days you should take a side trip out of Milan and perhaps go to Venice. Esp. if you have never been there before. Milan is nice, but it is a big crazy city - you have enough time to check out other things besided the obvious in Milan. Have fun! |

visit the sights, and remember to prebook your ticket into Santa Marie Gallery, where you can witness one of the most celebrated painting's in the world, Leonardo Da Vinci's 'The Last Supper'. Why not take a day trip to another city if you want, maybe Venice (since Rome requires 4 days itself just to visit all the important sights), and definitely- shopping! |

Basically you can do Milan in a day. There's the Duomo, Last Supper, La Scala (opera house), shopping on via Montenapoleone, San Ambrogio (sp?), visiting churches. Otherwise, do like the locals, and get out of town. Milan is the financial capital of Italy, is big, polluted. To have a more "Italian" experience, either rent a car or take the train out of Milan. |
