What does "amica" in italian train(trenitalia) fare means?

they have several options like flexi, standard, and gionalisti etc..but what do they represent?we are college students, which one is the most suitable and affordable fare?

"amica" means "friend" in Italian: check out this trenitalia page where it explains how it works!

Amica seems the best, most economical because it isn't very flexible (just make sure you've got the right ticket before you buy it). Flexi costs more than the normal ticket fare because you can change, and for the Socio you need to be a cardholder, it's not available for everyone.
