I am doing a history project about Italy and I have to know what good Italy is most famous for and what type of souvenirs are representative of Italy and can be brought for a good price. I also need to know the must see places in Italy.

Italy's famous for: pasta, pizza, Soccer, Parmesan cheese (Parmigiano), Ferrari, fashion (Armani, Versace...), inability to speak English...ah ah!

Good places to visit:
Rome/Vatican/St Peter's

Milan: Museums, Duomo (a huge, Gothic Church), fashion.

Venice. Near Venice there is Murano, a small place which is known for glass production. You can buy beautiful glass objects without spending too much.

Florence, heart of Renaissance and arts.

Siena: Middle Ages, Arts, Palio(the horse racing)

Pisa: Tower of Pisa

Naples, Pompei, Vesuvio

Sicily: beautiful island, Castles of Frederick II

Alps: mountains and skiing.

PS I would like to tell the people who wrote that Italian guys are Yummy or hot or stuff like that...

I DO NOT THINK SO!
